On November 16, 2018, in the auditorium of the University of Economics in Katowice, a seminar was held by the Association of Business Valuation Experts in Poland (SBWPwP) entitled. "Challenges and Barriers in the Work of a Business Valuation Expert". The seminar was co-organized by the University of Szczecin (Faculty of Law and Administration and Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management), the University of Silesia in Katowice (Faculty of Law and Administration) and the University of Economics in Katowice (Faculty of Finance and Insurance).
The seminar was attended by 150 people. Nine papers were presented in three sessions. Among the speakers were Prof. Dariusz Zarzecki, Dr. Magdalena Habdas, SO Judge Katarzyna Krziskowska, Prof. Kinga Flaga-Gieruszyńska, SO Judge Agnieszka Czaputa, attorneys Gracjana Mordasiewicz and Paweł Wiśniewski, Dr. Jan Konowalczuk, Dr. Aleksandra Klich and Paweł Cyganski, Partner of Cann Advisory.
During the seminar, Pawel Cyganski presented a paper entitled. "Valuation methods for estimating lost profits in legal disputes".
