He has over 25 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, business valuations, litigation support and financial due diligence.

He graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics and the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw. Since November 1999 he has been a member of the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants); in the period 2006-2009 he was a member of the Executive Council of ACCA Poland.

In November 2003 he became the first member in Poland of the American Society of Appraisers in the field of Business Valuation. In the years 2014-2018 he was the vice-president of the European Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers.

Founding member of the Association of Certified Business Valuators in Poland (SBWPwP). Co-author of the ethical standard and four substantive standards of the association.

In the period 2004-2012 he was an expert witness at the District Court in Warsaw; since September 2019 he has been an expert witness again. Currently, entered on the lists of expert witnesses at the district courts in Łódź, Warsaw, Katowice, Kraków and Wrocław in the field of:

• valuations of enterprises, companies, equity interests in partnerships, securities and intangible assets,
• valuations for the purposes of bankruptcy proceedings, including so-called pre-pack valuations,
• estimations of lost profits and economic damages,
• financial and economic analyses,
• credit, leasing and loan settlements.

Before founding Cann Financial Advisory and Cann Advisory, he worked at Deloitte & Touche and Ernst & Young. In 2007, he was a CFO at Elektrownie Szczytowo-Pompowe S.A. (currently PGE Energia Odnawialna S.A.). He was a member of the supervisory boards of Zespół Elektrowni Wodnych Solina-Myczkowce S.A. and Elektrownia Wiatrowa Kamieńsk Sp. z o.o. Paweł was also a member of the board of directors of the Finnish IT company BLStream Oy.

He led seminars at the Polish Chamber of Tax Advisors, PKPP Lewiatan and ACCA forums. He lectured at the National School of Judiciary and Public Prosecution. Member of the committee at the Polish Federation of Associations of Property Valuers preparing the Interpretative Note on Business Valuation. He teaches at the postgraduate study of the Warsaw School of Economics, Methods of Valuation of a Capital Company.

Ukończył Wydział Technologii Chemicznej Politechniki Gdańskiej, Wydział Ekonomiczno-Socjologiczny Uniwersytetu Łódzkiego oraz Wydział Zarządzania i Marketingu Wyższej Szkoły Przedsiębiorczości i Zarządzania.

Dodatkowo, wykształcenie Bogusława obejmuje podyplomowe studia menedżerskie MBA dla Inżynierów na Wyższej Szkole Przedsiębiorczości i Zarządzania oraz Studia Podyplomowe na Uniwersytecie Łódzkim w zakresie Rachunkowości i Controllingu. Doktoryzował się na Wydziale Elektrotechniki, Elektroniki, Informatyki i Automatyki Politechniki Łódzkiej.

Posiada certyfikat księgowy Ministerstwa Finansów oraz świadectwo kwalifikacyjne Stowarzyszenia Elektryków Polskich (eksploatacja urządzeń, instalacji i sieci). Bogusław od 2016 r. jest biegłym sądowym z zakresu rachunkowości, księgowości i finansów oraz z zakresu energetyki wiatrowej.

Do końca lat 90-tych doświadczenie zawodowe Bogusława obejmowało stanowiska zarządcze w przedsiębiorstwach przemysłu gumowego, spółdzielczości mieszkaniowej oraz sektora bankowości. W latach 2000 – 2003 był wiceprezesem a następnie prezesem zarządu AREL-GIPS Bełchatów S.A. Od 2003 r. do 2016 r. pełnił różne stanowiska kierownicze w grupie kapitałowej spółki sektora energetycznego Elektrownie Szczytowo-Pompowe S.A. (obecna nazwa PGE Energia Odnawialna S.A.).

W latach 2003 – 2011 był prezesem zarządu Elektrowni Wiatrowej Kamieńsk sp. z o.o. odpowiedzialnym za pełne zrealizowane inwestycji stworzenia farmy wiatrowej składającej się z 15 turbin wiatrowych o łącznej mocy szczytowej 30 MW. Od 2016 r. Bogusław prowadzi niezależną działalność doradczą w zakresie energetyki odnawialnej oraz finansów.
